Time Until The End

One night a young woman's in the hospital,
The doctors comfort her until the end,
And from her came a child, the greatest gift of all,
The father cries for the death of his bride,
But away from the place, the child they send,
A young child, an infant at that, raised by a father on the side,
Left home alone for hours at a time, the baby cries,
He grows through the dark, pessimistic at best,
Forced to learn on it's own, from a drunken father,
Time flies by a baby becomes toddler,
Receiving the occasional beating from his father,
Bruises they see, the teachers ask why,
No matter the problems the father had lies,
The toddler still grows turning into a young boy,
At certain times he wished he could fly away from the pain,
Heading from school, Dad laid on the couch,
He begins to yell, the boy runs to his room to crouch,
His father comes in,
Now the young boy is a young man about the age of thirteen,
He hates his father so much he wants to run away,
He learned to fight back overtime,
Swept into gangs, drugs, and everything in between,
Now at the age of seventeen, he's the good student,
Going to collage, happy to escape the pain,
After so long and sober he made a new day,
He walked into the house and his father was home,
His father soon hit him and he pulled his dad's gun,
As soon as he knew his father was dead,
He put a bullet in the gun and it ended up in his head.
